QuickTime & RealPlayer

Postby riserman » Sun Sep 11, 2005 10:37 pm

Steven,

How about including QuickTime and RealPlayer history files, MRU's and such in Cleanup! 4.5. Coverage of these programs would be a great addition.

Thanks,

Bob

Great idea. I'll look into it for the next beta release. :D

Bob,

I've been looking into cleaning the Real Player history. Is this the location you were referring to:
Code: Select all
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Real\RealPlayer\History

I already have the Most Recent Clips list (by default under the File menu) covered, but was there anything else with Real Player that you think could/should be cleaned? Oh, I've been looking at Real Player v. 10.0. Which version(s) are you thinking about?

[I'll look at QuickTime next - and probably have questions for you then. :-) ]

Bob,

I've just taken a look at QuickTime too. For that, the Most Recent entries appear to be stored in the QTPlayerSession.xml file under the users Documents and Settings. Is that what you've seen?
