hi,

I have read help/index and still have a few questions:

can I only delete one index.dat file at a time? (when I find all and select one file, I don't seem to be able to "delete on windows restart" any of the others) and

is there a option/utility available to automatically run indexdatspy every time I log on?

Using Index Dat Spy, yes. You can use other utilities such as my Windows CleanUp! to delete all index.dat files and other traces of your Internet activity, etc. in one go.

Not within Index Dat Spy. But you can always add it to your Start menu to accomplish this.

thanks Steve. I'll try the startup menu option. Tried cleanup but like to keep some history and the odd cookie.

Using CleanUp! 4.0 and later, you can define which cookies to keep in the Options dialog. 8)
