Hosting Cleanup on my website

Postby johnnyclimber » Thu May 05, 2011 3:56 pm

I do freelance computer repair and provide technical support for my family and friends as well. I was wondering about your policy on installer hosting. Ideally, I could host the installers for the programs I use the most on my website so that I have one stop access for software download when I'm at a client's house/office. It goes without saying that the installers would be labeled properly and the binary would not be modified in any way, this would strictly be for convenience. If this is not possible, I can upload a link to Cnet's page for the installer but it would be fantastic to host it myself. Looking forward to a response!

I would prefer you linking to the main download page for CleanUp! as follows:

http://cleanup.stevengould.org/download

That way the users can read the warnings (about having a good backup, etc.) and download instructions before downloading. Thanks.
