64bits laptop and cleanup

Sorry for my english but i'm french !!! i've ben using Cleanup for years on my 32bits cmputer. Now i've got a laptop HP Pavilion zv6000 with a AMD Turion processor 64bits; Why did Cleanup scrached my computer after using cleanup. Why can i not use clean up with 64bits processor???? I'm loste whithout you nobody does better than your cleanup!!!! Si wht can I do please !!!!????????????? :cry: :cry: :cry:

You don't say which version of Windows you are using, but it sounds like one of the known issues with CleanUp! 4.0 listed on the download page

I'm using windows XP with a AMD Turion 64bits. So?

Try installing and running CleanUp! 4.5 (still in beta) in "demo mode" and change the options to generate a log of files that would be deleted. No files will be deleted in this mode, but you'll get a log file. If you could post the log file in the CleanUp! 4.5 beta forum someone may be able to help.

My guess it that you may need to tweak the "Temporary Files" definitions or completely disable the "Scan drives for temporary files" option.
