Compatible-Firefox 3 & XPsp3

Postby greyowl » Sun Nov 09, 2008 10:19 pm

I am using XP sp3 and Firefox 3.

Is CleanUp! fully compatible with these new versions?

CleanUp and FireFox

Postby joycej53 » Mon Jan 12, 2009 6:29 pm

I would also like to know if CleanUp is compatible and/or works the same with Firefox. I just recently installed Firefox. I am using an older version of CleanUp (3.1 I think). Seems that browsing history is still in Firefox but is cleaned out of Internet Explorer.
Anyone?

I don't think anyone is home!

This software must be dead.

I'm using CleanUp 4.5.2 with Firefox 3, and you are correct in saying that it does not remove your browsing history..However in Firefox it is a simple matter of clicking on Tools then Clear Private Data and voila it's gone..

I generally clear my private data before running CleanUp, as it only takes you two seconds to do so.

I too am running XP SP3....

Thanks for clearing that up for me! What other private data does it clear in Firefox, if any? For instance, I use Roboform and would not like to lose passwords, etc. that Roboform fills in for me.

I have given up on this app because the developer seems to have abandoned the project with no maintenance or upgrades.

I have gone to CCleaner and PureRa--both are in active development with continuing improvements and added features.
